You are cordially invited to join the Shaldon Water Carnival Decorated Boat Parade!
The 2026 Water Carnival is fast approaching – Carnival day is Saturday 1st August – and boat owners are in the enviable position of being able to participate in the Carnival’s totally unique Decorated Boat Parade and have lots of fun whilst entertaining the large crowds watching on Shaldon Beach. You could win up to £100 and a rather splendid trophy!
Participation is free and very easy – just decorate your boat with whatever theme you’d like (lots of potential inspiration from this summer of sport, for example), register at the Committee Tent on the Beach on Carnival Day and make sure your boat assembles off Shaldon Beach around 4.45pm.
