TEIGNMOUTH HARBOUR COMMISSION – LOCAL NOTICE TO MARINERS 05/24
NOTIFICATION OF WORKS TO TEIGNMOUTH TO SHALDON BRIDGE, TEIGNMOUTH FROM 4th to 11th March 2024
Notice is hereby given that inspection works will start on the Teignmouth to Shaldon Bridge and will last for approximately 1 week.
A detailed inspection of the underside and piles of the bridge within the main channel of the river will take place. A barge and a small work boat will be moored and working under the bridge. The barge will be kept by the bridge overnight weather dependent. The works may be carried out over flooding or ebbing tides. Pass with caution and dead slow, keep an arch width clear of the operation.
Mariners are reminded that AIS, CCTV, and VHF Channel 12 are recorded 24/7.
