Applicants are sought for the full time post of Harbour Master/CEO in Teignmouth, South Devon. This is a busy harbour and port which includes mixed leisure, fishing, cargo and other commercial operations.
The post holder will: –
• Be responsible for the safe and effective management of both port and harbour operations in accordance with current legislation, guidance and codes of practice.
• Be responsible for leading and developing the harbour team.
• Be expected to influence and work collaboratively with all local stakeholders, such as Businesses, Clubs, Associations and Councils
The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and able to demonstrate: –
• Good knowledge and experience of port operations, business management and strategic planning.
• Effective communication skills.
• Competent business acumen and financial understanding, together with commensurate computer literacy.
